Shanghai Natural History Museum is an amazing place to visit. You can explore everything related to ancient history, nature, and the evolution of life, from dinosaurs to early human civilization. The exhibitions are very well designed, informative, and visually impressive. The dinosaur skeletons and historical displays are especially fascinating. It’s a perfect place for both learning and enjoyment. Definitely a must-see spot in Shanghai. Highly recommended!
Super impressed by the Live Art Wall which must have taken many months to paint. As a foreigner I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this amazing museum.
Deep down underground 2 to 3 floor above ground. Very interesting building design as well as the exhibition. Good for the whole family. Eatery is easy and good.
It gets better further down... The initial exhibits gave a cheap/fake feel as most of them were models/replica, but as you progressed to the lower floors, things literally started to get real. There were real human skeletons and a cool "peel away" view of a horse amongst other animals.
I visited the Shanghai Natural History Museum in the middle of the day, and it wasn’t too crowded, which made the experience really comfortable. There are lots of interesting and interactive exhibits that make learning fun and easy to understand. Overall, it’s a very nice and educational place to spend a few hours. I would definitely recommend it for families or anyone interested in natural history.
